Turkish president Araduan, made a strategic decision. For years he tried to to have Turkey accepted to be the tail of the European Union. But the EU was scared of the many young turks that would have left Turkey and flood Europe in search of a better life. Consequently, the EU never agreed to let Turkey become a member. After begging for many years to be the tail of the lion, the European Union, he chose to try and build and lead an Islamic alliance. It fits with his philosophy to start with, and the EU fueled that natural tendency.
