Wal-Mart Means A Better Economy

Wal-Mart means lower prices. It means more money left to buy other products and services. Since the beginning of human history, every time better technology or economic structure came to life it resulted in fewer people producing more goods and it forced others to change how they made a living. Cave men used to hunt with a bat. Once the bow and arrow were invented it meant less hunters could deal with the food production. It also changed the talents needed to be the most efficient hunter. From the powerful hunter to the accurate hunter. It left the strong man out of the hunting game. But he was then free to cut trees for the fire. The same process is still ongoing. Protection at the end means less products, lower quality, and higher prices. If you look at an individual, you can prove any point you want. So you look at the small store owner and you say, look at him he is paying the price. And he is. But it is a price we must pay. Otherwise you will not have economic growth. If we extend this principle, we will have a country where everybody works a lot and the total products produced would leave us all poor. We will still be hunting with a bat. And every potential improvement would be disallowed by law because the bat hunter would lose out.
