Business is not a country

Business is not a country. It is a unit that for the long term health, of itself and the country it is located in, must run in the most efficient way possible. Extra employees means extra expenses, means less competitive, means customers pay more for less and have less money left to use for other products and services that would generate economically healthy new jobs. It also means less competitive internationally, again costing jobs.
